| Sigma Theta Psi 2006-2007 |
Sigma Theta Psi was first recognized on November 13, 1991 at San Jose State University, by 18 young determined women
who shared the same values of honesty, loyalty and respect. Sigma Theta Psi is a multicultural sorority that focuses both
on academic and social aspects. Today Sigma Theta Psi has expanded to 8 different chapters and continues to grow.
Sigma Theta Psi's San Diego State University Alpha Chapter was established on
May 1st, 1993. Since then STP has made a powerful name for ourselves on our campus and have initiated more than 100 powerful
strong motivated sisters. We are very involved in all aspects of life including academics, social, community service and multicultural
awareness. We are also a member of the United Sorority and Fraternity Council.
